Ca-125 is a high molecular weight cell surface glycoprotein. This glycoprotein is recognised by the monoclonal antibody OC 125.
The antigen is expressed by
adenocarcinomas of the ovary, cervix uteri, endometrium, gastrointestinal tract, breast and thyroid.
