Dedifferentiated liposarcoma with myosarcomatous component

Histopathology

The heterologous element in dedifferentiated liposarcoma with myosarcomatous component may be rhabdomyosarcomatous or leiomyosarcomatous. A rhabdomyosarcomatous component may be pleomorphic, spindle cell or round cell. Spindle cells may show cross striations.

Differential diagnosis

Prognosis

Local recurrence is common. Metastases rare compared with other high grade sarcomas.
