Non-papillary adenocarcinoma of the thymus

There have been rare reports of non-papillary adenocarcinomas of the thymus, including:

• Adenocarcinoma of glandular pattern arising in a thymic cyst.

• Adenoid cystic carcinoma, resembling that of the salivary glands.

• Mucinous (colloid) carcinoma of the thymus.
