This is a sex cord stroma-derived tumour of the ovary of young adults. These tumours are commonly virilising.
Tubular sex cord-like structures resemble the seminiferous tubules of the testis. There is a variable stromal component resembling Leydig cells.

Well differentiated tumours are considered benign. Intermediate and poorly differentiated tumours may show malignant behavior.
