stomach > small intestine > oesophagus, & colorectum

variable, most often spindle or epithelioid

          

Schwannoma

mainly gastric

lack epithelioid cells

often a peripheral cuff of lymphoid tissue

S-100 positive

may be GFAP positive

CD34 negative

        

leiomyoma and leiomyosarcoma
