Rhabdoid morphology

Rhabdoid morphology may be seen in a variety of tumours:

• Malignant rhabdoid tumour of the kidney and of extra-renal sites

• Ewing's sarcoma of the kidney

• Desmoplastic small round cell tumour

• Large cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of the lung

• Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour

• Anaplastic spindle and giant cell tumour of the thyroid

• Localised malignant mesothelioma

• Extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma

• Paediatric CNS atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumour

• Chordoma

• GIST

• Melanoma, including sinonasal melanoma

• Seminoma-like malignant Sertoli cell tumour of the testis

• Pleomorphic liposarcoma
