Galactin-3
Galactin-3
is a member of the -galactosidasee binding lectin family. It may
itself be detected by anti-galactin3 antisera. Galactin-3 is a 30 kD
protein which is presen t in the cytoplasm and, to a lesser extent in
the nucleu and cellmembrane of epithelial and immune cells.
