Lipfibroadenoma of the thymus

Definition

A tumour resembling fibroadenoma of breast or thymolipoma, reported as a single case in association with a type B1 thymoma1.

Epidemiology

The tumour is extremely rare.

Histopathology

There are thin strands of epithelial cells interconnecting around islands of fibrous stroma with scattered fat cells.
