Adenomatoid tumour of the pleura

Adenomatoid tumours of the pleura are small circumscribed nodules. They are composed of vacuolated mesothelial cells, identical to adenomatoid tumours elsewhere.

Differential diagnosis

• diffuse malignant mesothelioma: show diffuse growth and invasion seen in

• localised malignant mesothelioma
