Calcifying fibrous pseudotumour

This tumour has been variously reported in soft tissues (forearm, thigh, trunk, scrotum, groin, axilla, mediastinum), pleura and peritoneum. It may be solitary or multiple. The tumour nodule(s) are non-encapsulated and consist of dense fibrous tissue, chronic inflammatory cell infiltrate and dystrophic or psammomatous calcification.
