Combined thymomas

The most common combinations of the WHO categories are:

• type B1 and type B2

• type B1 and type B2

• type B2 and B3 is common

• type B1 and B2 and B3 is rare

• type A, AB or B with type C is very rare

The prognosis is determined by the most malignant component.

There is a case report of thymic carcinoma combined with neuroblastoma1.
