September 2003

The most important paper from which I have taken information since June is the comprehensive review of the Immunohistochemistry of epithelioid mesothelioma vs adenocarcinoma by Nelson Ordonez - The immunohistochemical diagnosis of mesothelioma: a comparative study of epithelioid mesothelioma and lung adenocarcinoma." Am J Surg Pathol 2003;27(8): 1031-51.

I also need to bring to your attention the statement from the NCBI on links to PubMed.

The format of some of the URL's that provide these links was obsolete and I have had to systematically updated them. Nobody has mentioned the warnings from the NCBI of the impending loss of these links. Does nobody use them? Are you all too polite? Did you all assume I would fix it before 14th October? Anyway, I have been through them all manually. If I have missed any and you have any difficulty reaching any of the PubMed abstracts, please let me know. If you are reporting a problem with a specific reference, please include the page title and reference number.

I am pushing this version out to solve the PubMed issue before mid October. I may follow up shortly with a minor update, tidying a few unfinished pages.
