TRAF1

TRAFs are TNFR-associated factors that act downstream from Tumour Necrosis Factors. They act as signalling proteins, activating the anti-apoptotic factor kappa B (NKkB) family of transcription factors.

Immunohistochemical expression

The threshold for positivity in these studies was set at 20% of the tumour cells staining

Diagnostic utility

TRAF1 appears to be useful in combination with c-Rel.
