Immunohistochemical expression
High levels of androgen receptor expression are associated with
various markers of tumour aggression in prostatic adenocarcinoma1.
Apocrine carcinomas of
the breast are commonly positive for androgen receptors but
negative for oestrogen receptors
and progesterone receptors.
