Clear cell carcinoma of lung and ovary

Both pulmonary and ovarian carcinomas may be dominated by a clear cell morphology. Uncommonly, lung carcinoma metastasizes to the ovary. A panel of antibodies comprising TTF-1, CEA, CA-125 and OCT-4 appears to be useful in differentiating the origin of clear cell carcinomas between lung and ovary1.
