Female genital tract transitional cell proliferations

Definition

Various epithelial proliferations of the female genital tract resemble urothelial neoplasms.  Immunohistochemistry indicates that benign Brenner tumours show true urothelial differentiation.  Other tumours show less definite evidence of urothelial differentiation.
