As in January, I think the changes in this edition are merely incremental. I have had other calls on my time, but I am hopeful that within the next year I will be able to devote more time to this project.
There is a paper proposing that the pattern of proliferation as visualised with Ki-67 is useful in the diagnosis of lymphoproliferative disorders.
There have been a few papers on Blastic NK-cell lymphoma, also known as CD4-positive/CD56-positive lineage-negative neoplasm: it now seems to be firmly established that this is in fact a neoplasm of plasmacytoid dendritic cells.
New antigens listed here include Dysadherin, Histone Deacetylase 8, Matrix metalloproteinases, Nestin and TLS/EWS-CHOP.
A second edition of Diagnostic Immunohistochemistry edited by Professor D. J. Dabbs has recently been published. A sample chapter is available on line.
