TLS/EWS-CHOP
Myxoid
and round cell liposarcomas consistently show a t(12;22)(q13;q11-12)
and t(12;22)(q13;q12)
translocations. Monoclonal antibodies have been raised against
the two resulting chimeric proteins, TLS-CHOP
and EWS-CHOP. One of these monoclonal antibodies, anti-TLS/EWS-CHOP
antibody (clone 14), holds
promise for the identification of myxoid/round cell liposarcoma in
formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue. Staining is nuclear.
